The critical revision of poetical works of classical poets of Kurdish literature, especially the poets who are stylist, is considered the first step in the revival of these works. In the history of Kurdish literature, Nali is known as one of the pioneers of the middle Kurdish poetic style, influencing a large part of later poets. The poetical works of Nali has been published several times so far; however, despite the huge efforts of the correctors, there are still many mistakes in it. Some of these mistakes are due mostly to the misunderstanding of the manuscripts. In this article, the incomplete description of some words, the recording of other people's poems under the name of Nali, spelling, and mistakes in combinations are discussed. In another part, based on the rhetorical and linguistic criteria, the reasons for the validity of the corrected words and verses are stated. Knowledge on rhetoric and poetic traditions and stylistics is essential for a proofreader. This research has analyzed Nali's poetry by an analytical-descriptive method. The results, apart from proving the correct form of verses, revealed rare poetic images of Nali's poetry. Conducting such research will lead to a better understanding of Nali's poetry.
