Sayyid Abdullah Belbari is an Iranian Kurdish poet, author and mystic of the contemporary era, who has many works in the fields of jurisprudence, mysticism and Arabic sciences in Persian, Arabic and Kurdish languages. His Najm al-Qawa'ed is an Arabic teaching gospel written in 545 verses to teach his disciples and son Najm al-Din Muhammad. It has been arranged in the style of instructional Rajaz poems, with the rhymed hemistiches in every line. One of the most prominent features of Najm al-Qawa'ed is the non-normative prosodic structure, so the poet has written verses outside of common rules and conventions of prosody. The purpose of this article is to analyze the non-normative prosodic features of the randomly selected verses in order to determine the cases of this system and to explain its causes. The results show that in addition to utilizing different forms of Rajaz meter, because of influence of Kurdisg syllsbic prosody, Sayyid Abdullah has violated the prosodic rule of avoidance of "Zahaf of Kaf"; furthermore, he has omitted the case ending of some words in the middle of verses, also in some cases, he has violated rules of morphology in converting the conjunctive Hamzah to the non-conjunctive one and vice versa and also in converting vowels of Zamma and Kasra to Sokoon.
