Journal of Kurdish Literature is a peer-reviewed biannual journal run by Kurdistan Studies Institute of the University of Kurdistan in Sanandaj, Iran. JOKL received its license from the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance on 26 September 2010 with the license Number 14844/89.

JOKL is ranked 'B' by achieving 665.5 points out of 1000 from the Academic Journals Portal of the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
