Kurdish society faced many revolutions and struggles, which collectively led to a new wave of modernity entering Kurdish literature. Abdullah Goran and Osman Mohammad are at the center of the development of modernism in Kurdish poetry, and through the disruptive movements of these two figures, modern Kurdish poetry has been able to go through many ups and downs until now. By proposing the theory of Practice and linking it to concepts such as habitus and field, Pierre Bourdieu, a French sociologist and philosopher, was able to transcend the fixed dualities of subjectivism and objectivism and consider the actions of actors to be simultaneously the result of the actor's mind and the space around them. The present study, based on the theory of action, uses an analytical and descriptive method and compares the two mentioned poets to examine the socio-political conditions of that period and the impact of these events on the development of modern Kurdish poetry. The obtained results show that the modernism of Goran and Osman Muhammad cannot be reduced only to a reason such as the thinking and modernity of these two poets; rather, the protests and uprisings of the Kurds in various parts of Kurdistan and the migration of the Kurds to Istanbul on the one hand, and the diverse capitals of the poets, their status and habits on the other, had a significant impact on breaking the norm of Kurdish poetry by these two poets.
