Literary devices, particularly those related to aesthetics, are relatively scarce in Mawlawi’s poetry. Those that do appear are not used for decorative or ornamental purposes but are integrated into the poetic lines in a way that seems entirely natural. Clearly, the artistic and aesthetic dimensions of Mowlawi’s poetry are not limited to literary devices; therefore, understanding these dimensions requires an examination of other characteristics. In this study, Mawlawi’s poetry is examined using a descriptive-analytical approach, with a focus on its artistic and aesthetic aspects. The findings indicate that emotional simplicity is the dominant characteristic and the central principle underlying Mowlawi’s art and aesthetics. This simplicity results from various factors that are meaningfully interconnected in a network of relationships. The structure of the poet’s mentality and poetic imagination, along with the nature of his intended audience, constitutes the basis of this simplicity in Mawlawi’s poetry. The main components of the poet’s mentality and poetic imagination are a lack of adherence to literary conventions, a lack of reliance on established modes of expression, and sincerity of expression. The use of local natural and cultural phenomena is the primary source of this simplicity.
